Who We Are
Brad Stevens is an experienced civil trial lawyer who represents those who have been injured or damaged by the negligence of others. Since beginning the practice of law in 2003, Mr. Stevens has recovered more than $23 million dollars for his clients. His success as a personal injury attorney is perhaps due in part to the seven years that he spent working as an insurance adjuster, a position which provided him with an insider’s understanding of how insurance companies operate to minimize, deny, and fight claims. That insight, along with his deep commitment to each client and his experience handling personal injury cases, create a winning foundation upon which you can rely in your selection of an attorney.
Having attended law school at night while working fulltime as an insurance adjuster during the day, Mr. Stevens graduated from John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2002. In 2010, Mr. Stevens was honored to be designated as a “Rising Star” by Minneapolis based Law & Politics, publisher of Super Lawyers magazines.
That same year, he was additionally selected as one of the top 2.5% of Georgia lawyers under the age of 40. The following year, the National Trial Lawyers Association selected Mr. Stevens as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in the State of Georgia, and in 2013, Mr. Stevens was named as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite,” by Georgia Trend magazine.
Mr. Stevens served as a Regional Vice President for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and he is a Past President of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association. He is an active member of the Savannah Bar Association, the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, the Effingham County Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to his admittance to the State Bar of Georgia, he is admitted to practice law in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
Mr. Stevens lives in Savannah with his wife of over 22 years and their two children.
